ABOUT VIVA LIFE

Viva Life App is a Smart Pass that creates verifiable digital health certificates and securely stores your medical diagnostic results and vaccination records. We simplify your life by enabling easy access to this information when you need it. The Viva Life App is compatible with the Viva Life Enterprise Account.
Viva Life Enterprise Account enables an individual’s records to be synced from their Viva Life App to an organization dashboard. An enterprise account can consist of one or more organization dashboards where each dashboard can represent a separate branch or department of the enterprise. When a Viva Life App user links an organization ID to their account, the user’s records will automatically be synced to the associated organization dashboard. This will allow the enterprise to monitor the health status of each individual member for the benefit of everyone’s safety.

REGISTER AND LOGIN

If you are part of an organizational safety program for example at your workplace, they may issue you with a 6-digit code that is associated with their organization dashboard. If you add this organization ID to your account, you will be asked to confirm your understanding that your records will automatically be synced to that specific organization dashboard.

The data that is synced to the associated organization dashboard includes your name, the test product’s name, the test product’s serial number, the test date, the test result, and the photo image of the test result. Note that if you remove or update the linked organization ID, any of your records that were previously synced to the associated dashboard will be removed from that dashboard.

This is most likely because you are already a registered Viva Life Enterprise Account user. Your enterprise account and your app account share the same credentials across the Viva Life platform. In this case, you may simply log in to the Viva Life App using the same credentials as your enterprise account.

There could be several reasons. Carefully check your registration page for any errors that are highlighted in red – especially your email address and password. Also ensure that you have actively ticked the check box to confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Check all your email folders including your spam folder – or search your entire mailbox for “Viva Life”. If you still cannot find the email message, then contact us at verify@vivalife.app.
If your sign in page displays a check box to confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, then you need to actively tick that box in order to successfully log in to your account.

ADDING A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE

The certificate can be created any time after completing the diagnostic test. Note however that a photo of the test result is required to be uploaded to the record – and in the case of rapid tests, this would usually be a photo of the actual test cassette used. Since the visual results displayed on most test cassettes are only valid for around 30 minutes, you should either create the digital certificate immediately after completing the actual test, or take a photo of the actual test cassette used immediately after completing the test and upload that photo when creating the digital certificate at a later stage.

Digital certificates are only available in collaboration with affiliated partner products – such as the full range of products from ARISTA Biotech. The steps are as follows:

  1. Tap the “Add Certificate” button on the bottom of your Smart Pass screen.
  2. Scan the product’s QR code as displayed on the test cassette or its foil bag. The QR code identifies the product’s details and an error message will display if the code is invalid.
  3. Upload a picture of your test result. In the case of rapid tests, this is usually a photo of the actual test cassette used, and in the case of lab tests, this is normally a photo of the lab report.
  4. Confirm the test date, and select the test result (negative / positive / invalid) as visually displayed on the actual test cassette in the case of rapid tests or as indicated on the lab report in the case of lab tests.
  5. Review the automatically generated details of the record and add an optional note for personal reference.
  6. Tap the save button to generate the digital certificate.
  7. The digital certificate is available for selection from your Smart Pass screen. The Smart Pass may include multiple categories of diagnostic tests such as antigen tests, antibody tests, and nucleic acid tests. However only the most recent certificate in each category is available for display.
The QR scanner is dependent on the use of your device camera. Most times, the QR code will scan very easily, but some lower resolution cameras may experience difficulty in scanning. Other reasons my include a camera lens that is dirty or out of focus. Try clean the lens and then hold the camera as still as possible about 15cm away from the QR code. If the scanner still fails after about 5 seconds, then very slowly move the camera closer to the QR code. If the all attempts to scan the code fails, then take a photo of the QR code using another camera and then scan a zoomed in image of the QR code using your device.
This means that the product you are scanning is not affiliated with the Viva Life platform. Or you may be scanning the incorrect QR code – the QR code is displayed on the test cassette or its foil pack. On rare occasions it may be possible that the QR code is damaged. In this case you can send a photo of your QR code to support@vivalife.app .
Digital certificates are available for view on your Smart Pass screen. Tap the relevant category for example “Antigen Test” to view the latest digital certificate. The digital certificates are color-coded as a visual aid according to the test result. The QR code displayed on the digital certificate contains embedded record data that can be scanned for verification purposes using third party scanners.
In the case of diagnostic tests, the purpose of the digital certificate is to display the user’s most recent test status and therefore only the most recent test certificate is displayed. Any newly added test certificate will automatically replace an older test certificate. Furthermore, we expire all diagnostic test digital certificates after a period of 1-year.
Complete historical records of all added digital certificates and their underlying data is stored in the Records section of the app.
Yes, if you delete the historical record from the Records section of the app, the associated digital certificate will also be deleted from your Smart Pass.
